In the Hebrew (Biblical) calendar we are in the month of Chesvan. It is the 8th month and is connected to the tribe of Manasseh. Manasseh is the first born son of Joseph, and grandson of Jacob, through whom he received a portion of the double portion inheritance of his father Joseph. There are three words that I hear concerning this month: reflection, expression, and manifestation. Manasseh and his brother Ephraim are the reflection of the life of their father (Joseph), the expression of his legacy as their father, and the manifestation of his covenant position with his father, Jacob (Israel). We are positioned and purposed to become exactly the same through our covenant relationship with the Father through Messiah. We are to become the reflection of the life of Messiah(The Glory Of God), the expression of the legacy of Messiah in the earth(His Voice), and the manifestation of his covenant position as the only begotten of the Father (The Sons Of God).
Manasseh means to leap up and away, and forget, (as in your past). The birth of Manasseh represented a release from his past in the life of Joseph, and also a continuation into his place of a new beginning of inheritance (Genesis 41:51). Manasseh was also a representation of the fullness of the restoration of joy in the midst of sorrow in the life of Joseph (Psalm 51:12). This is a time that the Father has ordained for the re-establishing of our foundation of true joy that can only be found in him. The restoration of joy is the foundation for the manifestation of his glory! (John 2:1-11).
8 is the number of new beginnings, therefore this is the month to allow God to cleanse you of your past, and move you into a totally new place/dimension in him (Philippians 3:12-15, 2 Corinthians 5:17-21). 8 also signifies eternal revelation, a new order of things, it means to sanctify, and to manifest.
As we embrace this month of new beginnings, we allow the Lord to flood our entire beings with eternal revelation, so as to sanctify us as his own (Ekklesia) to bring about a new order of things,(Matthew 16:13-20) (a revelation and demonstration of The Kingdom Of God), that we might totally manifest as the sons of glory (Sons of God)(Romans 8:19).
Chesvan is also connected to the Hebrew alphabet Nun, which is associated with the number 50, the spirit of faith, the symbol of the fish, which are all connected to Messiah. Chesvan is therefore considered the month of Messiah or “Anointed One” (Acts 10:38).
This is the month to receive an increase in anointing, and to embrace the fullness of deliverance. The number 50, which is the numerical value or expression of Nun, can also portray Pentecost, jubilee, freedom, liberty, and Holy Spirit, a perfect picture of Messiah.
Chesvan as the month of Messiah, and new beginnings, has been set aside for the people of God to walk in the totality of the liberty and freedom of Holy Spirit, and live in the anointing of jubilee (open heavens).
It is the month connected to the sense of smell (meaning that the fragrance Of God (Myrrh) will permeate the soulish nature, and prepare us as a fragrant offering of Gods’ deliverance, and also prepare us to become a favored vessel of God).
Chesvan is also the month connected to the intestines-the month to assimilate and digest the Word, allowing it to go deep into our inward parts (Psalms 51:6). As we allow this assimilation of the word to totally transform us, we become a divine revelation of the wisdom and truth of God, taking on the full image of Messiah. We must hear the word (voice) of God in a unique and special way this month.
This is the month that God chose to reveal the sign of his eternal covenant (rainbow) to the family of man through Noah and his family (8 souls, 8th man from Adam), so this is the month that we celebrate the eternal goodness of God, realizing that God has determined to give us his best(Jeremiah 29:11).
This is the month to allow the voice of faith (voice of God, Messiah) (Romans 10:8, John 1:1, Hebrews 11:1) to empower us to war for the promises of God and continue to advance into our place of inheritance in him.
Chesvan is also connected to the constellation of Scorpio (scorpion).(Psalm 147:4). God has given us a unique authority as sons of the Kingdom to tread on snakes and scorpions (Luke 10:19-20), to be able to permeate, penetrate, and tear down every wall of confinement that the enemy has attempted to build up against us. Yet this is the time that the Lord has set aside for us to rejoice that our identity is totally wrapped up in our relationship to him.
In other words, the Father has given us power and authority to overcome and move forward through every obstacle and hindrance of our past, that has kept us from fully embracing and walking in our new beginning in him (Revelations 21:7). This is a time of the awakening of our true identity in him (Colossians 3:1-4)!
Therefore in this month of “new beginnings”, it is essential that we embrace and walk in our God-given authority as ambassadors of the Kingdom, and manifest the fullness of our covenant “sonship”!
In this 8th month, the 2nd month of this New Year 5782, we must continue to embrace our assignment as gate keepers in our various spheres of authority in this New Kingdom Era! As Sons of God, we have the unique responsibility and privilege of expressing the life of the Father (power), revealing his Glory and unveiling and demonstrating his Kingdom! We are authorized as ambassadors of this transitional season to transform the earth to look and sound like heaven. Our voices are absolutely, essentially, necessary to bring about the fullness of this transitional transformation! We are called to seed the atmosphere with the life of the Father (which we carry inside of us), in order to bring to reality the full manifestation of heaven in earth(us) and heaven on earth (our place of domicile)! Blessings! Shalom!
